A course exploring a variety of ways to support mental health creatively
Many people often do not realise they are under stress until it has begun to consume them. Stress and anxiety can negatively affect someone’s wellbeing, mental and emotional health and create behaviour and relationship challenges. It is important to be able to recognise the causes of stress; when you have done this, you can begin to find ways to successfully manage and support any known triggers or stressors.
This course is aimed at people who are struggling with their mental health and want to access something creative, to help them through the difficult time. The course is running for 6 weeks, from our Cheltenham, Gloucester and Stroud locations. SJ is a creative counsellor, and will talk you through several creative and expressive ways of supporting your mental health in general. You will have time to creatively express your feelings and thoughts in a supportive environment. Everyone will have the opportunity to connect with each other, helping you to feel confident to move through what may have previously felt blocked or confusing to understand.
This opportunity is ideal for anyone suffering with; anxiety, low mood, family upset, relationship breakdown, work difficulties, parental stressors, grief and/or challenging thoughts.
All materials supplied, all you need to do is to book on and show up!
The groups are small, only 4 people and SJ, keeping the environment safe and comfortable.

All 6 sessions are booked and paid for in advance to secure your space, and you will stay with the same people throughout the course.
