Supervision

Face-to-face or online clinical therapeutic supervision for therapists and practitioners supporting adults, young people, and/or families

Looking at the View

Supervision is a professional and therapeutic space that allows time for collaboration, encouraging the use of reflection and open discussion on all elements of therapeutic practice. It is a much-needed confidential space for anyone who is supporting others, enhancing your practice through understanding both your own and your client's experiences.

I am a qualified Supervisor, with a Level 7 qualification in Supervision, and can provide 1-1 or group sessions. My relational integrative approach offers an inclusive service, where authenticity is the heart of my practice.  Your supervision is individual to you, your client content, case management or the business needs. It is a unique space to discover and build on who you are and who you want to be as a practitioner.

Supervision with me will begin with getting to know each other, and gaining an understanding of your workload.  It is our aim to find a therapeutic relationship that feels safe enough for you to feel you can be open with me, with the knowledge that I will support you when needed, challenge you when I feel it is appropriate and that I will work collaboratively with you to look at the ethics of any difficult situations you or your group encounter.

Professional/Clinical Supervision is not just for counsellors, it can be helpful for social workers, healthcare professionals, therapists, or anyone working in a service where you are providing support to others, or you may be overseeing a team providing this service.

My personal and professional background and skills support the development of my practice, but the main work comes from the relationship created between myself and my supervisee’s.

My experience covers; counselling adults and young people, family counselling or support services, agency settings and charities, health and social care teams, educational settings early years – higher education, creative and sound therapy, professional development, ACE’S, criminal justice system and historic behaviour patterns, and working with gender, sexuality and relationship diverse (GSRD) clients, including supporting adults and young people who are exploring big changes in their lives.
