Lavender Fields

Created using lavender and other plants from the garden to bring the glorious view into your home.  With its rustic curled edges and a hummingbird, it stands proud from the wall, bringing the eye towards the detail of each flower and plant embedded into the clay.

Held by a strong rope to add a natural way to hang the artwork, making it part of the design. 

Colours range from a rich dark oak to copper and shades of gold, adding the warm light across a field. An oxide was used before glazing to help bring through each marking.
